Switching back to original dynamic after repeat
Does anyone know how to have the Musescore software revert to the original dynamic after a repeat? In the screenshot, I have the first dynamic as mp then measure 18 it crescendos to f and then is supposed to go through the first repeat, back to the beginning, reverting the dynamic to mp.

The dynamic markers act like signposts setting the volume for the music ahead. When your piece repeats, the last "signpost" was a forte marking.
Easy to resolve. Just repeat the mp which is before the repeat section in the first measure of the repeat - and then make it invisible.
