PDF Upload - Unsuccessful
MuseScore will not process my PDF uploads. These are simple 15-measure hymns with four staves(?). Each stave contains a treble and base clefs. Very simple.
The end in an "Unsuccessful" state with no error explanation.
How do I solve this?

MuseScore passes your score to an online version of Audiveris. Some have reported better results by downloading a standalone version of Audiveris and others have paid for a commercial PDF interpreter program.
If you can edit or create PDF files without extra markings and text (which can be added back later), such as the vertical line and the "X" near the end, the software reading the PDF will have an easier time. I opened your PDF in Photoscore. It didn't like the open ended measures with only 3 beats, so I had to move the notes from the measure on the next line, add the ending barline and delete the barline of the now empty measure. Also, some of the lyrics did not get read properly so some have been deleted, but here is an .xml file you can import for final tweaking. The OCR process for music is still in its infancy and all of the programs seem to have errors and omissions. Just don't expect Audiveris, Photoscore or others to be perfect
It worked quite well with the local Audiveris program. I was even positively surprised. Of course there are still some corrections to be made, as always :-).
The lyrics are also missing. The one that was recognized has to be deleted and rewritten.
And I have added the correct repetitions according to the lyrics. The repetitions are actually missing in the template.
