I stopped working on a score last night, and came back to it this morning. Now when I try to save to the cloud I get the error:

When I clicked help, it sent me here - so any help would be appreciated. I made a copy of the work on my local computer for the meantime, but I have a decent amount of effort that has changed since my last cloud backup I don't want to lose.

If I go to the "Home" tab it still shows me as logged in, and clicking on "My profile" takes me to the website where I'm logged in correctly, so I'm not sure what's going on.

This is reported again and again. Some people suggest logging out and logging in again.
I understand that you want to avoid losing your work. In the meantime, also think about a local backup, e.g. on a USB stick.

Meh, thanks. I want to like MuseScore - I really do. I think this is probably where I just drop the software and subscription.

The UX is terrible (it's so awkward to enter music) and the website isn't any better (I do software product design & development for a living... the amount of product basics missed is just staggering). The "voice" structure is completely unintuitive. This really feels like I went back and time and am using the software my highshcool had for arranging 25 years ago.
