How to force a plugin to be downloaded?

Whenever I try to download the 'Strings' Muse Sound, Musehub complains that I'm out of storage, even though that shouldn't matter because I have my instruments folder symlinked to another drive. Is there any way I can get Musehub to download the sounds without having to clear space on the drive that it ultimately is not going to use?

i don't think this is a MuseScore problem. It doesn't know anything about your storage arrangements. Yes, clear some actual space.

Also, a "plugin" in MuseScore parlance is a small program created to do a specific thing to a score, not a soundfont, effects program etc.
