MIDI
I opened a MIDI file in MuseScore and it created a flawless score. The order of instruments in the timeline starts with the bass measures on the top line then the guitar chords on the second and the oboe voice in the third line of measures. The fourth line of measures shows the drum beat setup. I would like to switch the position of the bass measures to the third line and bring the voice (oboe) to the first line. Is this possible?

If this is V4, open the score and hit "I". On the right side, select the instrument you want to move. Up and Down arrows will appear. Move as needed.
Here's an alternate to "i" (i.e.) Add Instrument dialog:
In the Instrument panel you can select an Instrument (by name) and drag it up or down to the position you want.
