Musescore 4 BPM is more like B-P-30 seconds
Hello, I just downloaded Musecscore 4 (via MuseHub) on my Windows 11 pro computer and the BPM is going to fast. For example if I set a quarter not to equal 80 BPM in common time the value it actually plays is 120 BPM instead of 80. Is there any way to fix this as I would really like to compose a piece without the BPM being twice as fast as it should. Thank you!

Please attach your problem score (.mscz file) to this thread. That will help us see what is actually happening.
Are you using the quarter note = 80 from the Tempo palette?

Good catch!
If it's a dotted quarter note = 80, that is actually 120 bpm.

I'm using the regular quarter note and it is going at 120. I will try and attach the file later I can't right now. Also it might be a Musescore 4 problem because it worked fine for me in Musescore 3.
