Corrupt File
I'm working on a composition for university and it crashed and said that the file is now corrupt

Hello. No problem for me to open and read this score. I saved it and the file size changed. Try opening this one, maybe that will solve the problem.
Your score opens fine for me, too, although your use of repeats and jumps along with that volta is somewhat unconventional (the way the score currently exists).
(For example, why the D.S. al Coda with the Segno placed at the very beginning, instead of using D.C.? Or why not just use a first and second ending (volta) without using the D.S. and a Coda at all?)
Update your MuseScore 4.0.2 to the latest, 4.2.1

Good point, as maybe a wacky roadmap contributed to a crash (in the older MS version).
