Windows-->Open scores Menu?

• Mar 24, 2024 - 18:14

Currently there is none and I find it super annoying, especially when I'm switching between scores.

In Audacity==Windows menu with list of the files.

In Adobe Illustrator==Windows menu with a list of the files open.

In Adobe products across the board==Windows menu with the list of scores open.

In Corel==List of projects open.

In Blender== Menu with list of projects open.

In Scrivener== Menu with list of projects open....

Open Office== Window with list of projects open.

Microsoft Word== Window with list of projects open.

Sketch up... Should we continue?

MuseScore: Struggle to find menu with the list of projects open and make it as hard as possible to find it.

But the same company owns Audacity? I know you have the programming, so... why isn't there one?

Screenshots attached to show what I mean.

The proposal for what it might look like is in the third one, taken from an Audacity menu.

In addition, when I hover over the individual scores... It says "Muse score 4" (4th screenshot) Which is about as annoying as that sounds. It doesn't say, something like "America, the Beautiful". With Photoshop and Audacity, it doesn't create extra icons which aren't then further labeled.

So I'm asking to streamline Musescore to be similar to Audacity and other programs similar to it.

Thank you.

FWIW, in W11 if you scroll over the MU4 icon in the taskbar, a little popup of all the scores you have open, shows up. And as you scroll over each one, they go full screen. I don't remember how W10 works.
