How to unhide certain hidden staves?

In measures 9-12 I initially entered the chords in the bass clef, but later decided it would make more sense in treble clef. Since I had already hid the treble clef staff and was having trouble unhiding it (in order to re-enter those chords) I simply changed the clef in that staff.

But as a result I got the clefs at the end of the line, which I don't want, since they don't make any sense in this case.

So how do I unhide the other staff in measures 9-12 (what was originally the treble clef staff) so I can fix this properly? I was able to unhide other staves in other measures of the score, but in measures 9-12 they were staying hidden no matter what I tried.

You had measures 9-12 hidden using measure properties. See:

Hey! Thanks for that. I see now the easy way to hide empty staves in the properties.

However, if I hid measures using measure properties, then shouldn't I be able to see them again in my score by simply clicking on "viewable" in the measure properties. I tried that and it didn't seem to work.

Using the file you posted, I was able to get it to work, but I still don't quite understand how to "fix" my file, as it is. Thanks again!

Yes, so open this score:
Use_meas_prop.mscz
...and use measure properties (clicking "Apply") to "fix".
---BUT---
I did not initially discover that you had set "Hide when empty" to "Always" (in Staff/Part properties).
So, the easy "fix" is:
The score has a grand staff with an upper and a lower staff.
Starting from your original attachment, right click an empty part of an upper staff, select Staff/Part properties... and change "Hide when empty" from "Always" to "Auto".
Do the same with a lower staff.
