"Reload Plugins" seem to be invalid in musescore4.2.1 and 4.3.0
After I modified the plugin, Reload Plugins did not work properly and had to restart Musescore to reload the plugin.

I confirm. As a result, developing a plugin is very tedious. In MS 3.6.2 this worked (and was very convenient!)

I also encountered this months back when adding plugins to MuseScore 4. Sure was a LOT simpler in MuseScore 3!
Do you know how to add an issue on Github? I'm kind of exhausted on that front.

If it helps, I am unable to install any sort of plug-in anyway. At least on Mac. I got a vst3 on windows once tho

I put it in plugins -> vst3 and set the directory. How am I supposed to install plugins anyway?! Never mind, better create a new post ahaha
