Ctrl + clicking and the new z-order

A year ago, I found out that Ctrl + clicking overlapping elements (say unison notes in different voices) no longer works in MuseScore 4, like it used to in previous versions. What really confused me was that MS4 manual still referred to it as if it worked.

I've checked again and everything is nicely resolved (I joke!) because the manual refers to it, but points out it no longer works. Unfortunately the bug is still there. Each minor version of MS4, I check again and it's still there.

Now my understanding is that this MS4 bug is referenced in:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/10225

But reading it through, it doesn’t seem to very accurately sum up the situation. For example, it says under number 3.
Click on the A, and note that the voice 1 note is selected
Where actually the voice 2 is selected.

The description given in the GitHub article was how it used to work under versions previous to MS4. What I think happened when MS4 came out were two distinct things: 1. The Ctrl + clicking bug appeared, or they might put it another way: that the functionality was never implemented. 2. The order that unison voices were stacked, reversed. So, to put it another way: In versions prior to MS4, voice stacking order was (from top to bottom) 1,2,3,4. Now in MS4 it is 4,3,2,1. It looks like the GitHub database refers to that as the z-order. (Maybe in MuseScore 3 it was the x-order.)

Is there any news about these non-functionality, manual references and stacking issues?

Personally, I think these should be made a low priority, shortly before the GitHub bug resolution stacking order is reversed! ;)

Thanks

Dave
