storing to the iCloud
Any clues as to why I cant save to the iCloud? I am on a fairly new apple Mac but dont want concerns of space or losing stuff but it just says I cant?

If your computer is a "fairly new" one of any make, you will be able to store scores on your computer for many years--perhaps even many centuries--without having any concerns of space. Score files tend to be very, very small in terms of the space available on a modern hard drive.
I suspect that you are more likely to lose your work from storing it online than from storing it locally. The best way to work is to store your work locally and store to the cloud only as a backup.
That said, I don't use the cloud for backup, so I can't help you in doing so. Sorry, and good luck!
