Adding text the bottom of a page

When I do a shorter song with lots of lyrics, I like to add them at the bottom of the page just using staff text but I want more room and when I try to "squeeze" the note staffs toward the top of the page by increasing the bottom margin, I can't just pull the block of text down to the bottom - it goes to page 2. I used to be able to do this on MuseScore 2 but I'm using 3 now and it doesn't work any more. HELP!
