Is there any way I can force a measure into a multi-measure rest?
I have a measure with a hidden dynamic (target dynamic for a harpin) that won't join into a multi-measure rest. Is there any way to force it in?

That dynamic won't work because it isn't associated with a note. The hairpin might work a little with out it the dynamic.

that isn't true, it does affect the playback.

I didn't say it wouldn't affect playback. I've seen it both ways. The point is that with that dynamic there the measure won't be included in the multi measure rest.
Rather than attaching the p to the semibreve rest I attached it to a hidden non-playing note in voice 2 right at the end of the bar with the D# semibreve and then added some x offset to it.
