Musescore 4.3.2 does NOT play pizzicato with "Sound Flags", ONLY via Palettes > Text
In spite of instructions to the contrary, I could not get pizzicato to work.
I couldn't find "Sound Flags" to enable this.
Now sorted, sound flags not required, see below.
[Thank you]

Sorted, see below. Thank you.
Just figured it out: you’re not using muse sounds. Sound flags only work with muse sounds.
If you don’t have muse sounds, get “pizz.” from the text palette.

How do I acquire muse sounds?

The muse hub.
It's on the front page of musecore.org
You don't need Muse Sounds for pizz; the appropriate text is right there in the Text palette.
But if you use Muse Sounds, the sounds are of course much more realistic.

Yes, I was, but though they don't (yet) seem to exist, i have now sorted this out. Thank you for your suggestions and see below.

They exist, but only with muse sounds 🙄

In Palettes, go to Text, then enter pizz. from there. Do NOT use "Staff text", nor Ctrl+T. Sorted. Thank you.
