Text stripped when importing PDF's
Is there anyway to prevent the text from being stripped when importing PDF's? If not, is there some step I'm missing to put the text back on?
Thank you

Try Audiveris directly rather than via the import on musescore.com

Hello Jojo,
I apologize, but I am unfamiliar with Audiveris. I tried googling it but nothing was clear enough.
Would you mind explaining what it is, and how to use it? Thank you kindly.

Audiveris is an open-source software for optical music recognition (OMR). MuseScore uses a rather old version of Audiveris to fulfil the menu feature File > Import PDF.
What Jojo suggested is that you download to your own PC the latest version of Audiveris:
https://github.com/Audiveris/audiveris
You will have to experiment with changing the various parameters of Audiveris to get the best results.
[EDIT]
When you have installed Audiveris, you can use its menu path Help > Handbook to understand how to use Audiveris.

Thank you,
I think I've installed Audiveris correctly, now I'm In the process of downloading Java, because you need it to launch Audiveris apparently, and then I have to figure out how to launch Audiveris. It's a slow process, because this is new to me, but I'll hopefully get it.
