Musescore no longer making sound

It has been a few days since I last used Musescore. There have been no updates, to my knowledge, but when I tried making music, there was no audio playing. Nothing when I input notes, nothing when I played back the score. Even opening older scores did nothing. I tried everything from here: https://musescore.org/en/node/96811

But nothing worked. My sound still works with everything else on my computer. Factory resetting the program or restarting my computer did nothing either. I might consider uninstalling and reinstalling musescore, or downgrading to an earlier version if that is even possible. But, if anyone has any idea what is going on, that would be of great help!
