corrupted score error message

I am getting seemingly random error messages when attempting to save a score. The details of the error indicate an unequal quantity of beats in measures. i.e. 7/8 or 9/8 when 4/4 expected.

inspection of the score does not show 7/8 or 9/8 beats as reported.
