Adding, removing, or changing placement of instruments removes brackets, etc.

When I add, remove, or change the order of instruments in a score, it removes some (not necessarily all) of the brackets for instrument groups and removes the barlines that go through instrument groups.

For example, in the attached score, let's say I want to add or remove a percussion instrument, or change the placement so the concert bass drum goes below the 5-top set-up. When I do this, the only brackets that remain are in the vocal staves at the top of the page. All of the other brackets disappear, and the barlines that go from one instrument to another within brackets disappear as well. I think this must be a bug, as I can think of no reason why this would be the desired outcome.

I'm using MS 4.3.2 on Mac Sonoma 14.5.
