Need for multi-voice staffs with a different instrument per voice
I have searched for this feature request without success, as most search results pertain to older versions and this is specifically for MS 4 with MuseSounds.
Many of the new libraries (e.g. Berlin Winds or Brass) have different samples for the same "instrument" - e.g. Flute 1, Flute 2 etc. And these can be used with each Flute sound on its own staff. But I would really want to use two voices on the same Flute staff, with the top voice playing the Flute 1 sounds and the lower voice playing the Flute 2. The argument is perhaps stronger for Horns, which have 4 sounds. And for homorhythmic lines, I would like to hear the different notes of chords playing with the different samples. And if we start to get better vocal libraries, then surely we want to have SATB writing on a grand staff.
Taking this a bit further, staff text such as "1", "2" or "a2" *and maybe "solo") could control which sound (or sounds) are to be used. And further still, a "div" staff text could switch string instruments to two different smaller section sounds as the two voices.
Without this, scores using the newer playback libraries are always going to look unrealistic and take up far too much vertical space.

With some effort this was possible with Mu3.

Probably true, But in MU3, playback was only via SoundFonts, so there was only 1 flute sound, one horn etc. But if I now have a library with 3 different sets of flute samples - which can sound much better, ideally I would want to hear them all play from a multi-voiced score

even there you could use several soundfonts and choose from them

Ah - OK thanks. I never tried that back in MU3 days.
But, as I said, I would like to make best use of the multiple sample sets in the superb-sounding paid-for libraries for MU4. So my request still stands.
