Playback issues after 4.4.0 / 4.4.1 (high pitched & sped up)

Hello, after updating to 4.4.x I've been experiencing high pitched audio and sped up playback on my speakers. Normally the fix would be to change the hz to 44.1, changing the buffer size, changing the audio device from system default to the speakers, updating drivers, etc, however none of that has worked. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? Thanks.

My headphones work fine, it's just my speakers.
