my music score keeps saying that "this score is invalid" when I try to open it
I have been working on this score for over a week and not had a problem with it. then I close the score tonight and when I reopen it to double check that it has been saved I keep getting this same error message that says "this score could not be opened" "this score is invalid"
if anyone could Please help me with this because its been a lot of work put into this score and I don't want to lose it

Attach the score here.
It may be that it can be repaired, but it may also be that it is irretrievably lost.
You can also look for a backup copy in the hidden directory .mscbackup, perhaps an older version is still available there.
