How to hide a staff for one measure without hiding the time signature and instrument name

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a score, and I need some help with two specific formatting issues:

I want to hide the staff for one instrument in a single measure without removing the time signature and instrument name. As a workaround, I created duplicate instruments with the same name and placed them in separate systems to avoid duplication. However, this left a blank space which looks a bit unprofessional. Is there a cleaner way to achieve this?
Additionally, I want to hide the time signature for just one instrument in a specific measure, but keep it visible for the others. I’ve attached an image for reference to show what I’m trying to achieve.
