I am transcribing a piece of music and am copying the original. For some reason this one measure at the end of the line shows no bar. The lyrics seem to continue on the next stave.
By the way, I am not a musician, just someone who is willing to transcribe about 50 songs for a hymn book our church is creating. Importantly, we are ensuring that no copyright infringement occurs.

Not sure here, but if a piece is covered by copyright, then you transcribing it with MuseScore will not change that infringement. If you're going to publish this (and I'm fairly sure that creating a hymn book and distributing it to the members of your congregation would qualify as "publishing" it), then you would be wise to check with a copyright attorney. I suspect that you'll still be infringing. (Hope I'm wrong here!)

We subscribe to two licensing services. We have to report any usage which triggers the payment of royalties to publishers and contributors.
