Making a barline that is single for the solo and winged double for the SATB voices
Hi,
I am trying to create a barline on the left of the Alto solo+SATB staves. I would like it to be single for the solo and winged double for SATB, like I have seen in other scores for choir. When I try to change the barline, it simultaneously changes for all the voices, even if I select only a portion of the barline corresponding to one voice. I would like this custom barline used automatically on the left when MuseScore creates a new set of five staves for Alto solo+SATB.
The example with the empty score is attached.
Can someone help me figure this out?
Very much appreciated.

Is this what you want?
If so, I added that in the attached MS file.
To perform this, you would select the 1st measure in staff 2, 3, 4 and 5 and then in the palets, open the Hooks palet and click the Winged bracket.
If not, can you please share a sample of what you want?

Yes, this is exactly what I wanted! Thank you. For me, the winged bracket was in "Brackets", not "Hooks" palette. But I found it all right!
May I ask one more question: how do I make sure that the measure lines go from top to bottom over all five staves, without extending each line in each stave individually?

Ahh...sorry I should have checked the english text used for the palet. Good you found it.
To extend the barline, you can drag the barline handle from the top staff to the bottom staff.
I have updated the attached score, just in case.

No worries. Thanks for the help! Now my barlines look as they should.
