Thought I saved something, lost whatever I did in the last three months

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but whatever. I've been working on a bassoon solo for a while now and spent a LOT of time on my third movement. I thought I saved it, but I opened Musescore today and everything from the last three months was wiped. It told me that what I was working on was shut down unexpectedly and gave me the option to click on that to reopen it, but when I tried it, it just shut down musescore altogether and didn't provide the option again. I'm honestly super upset. Is there any way to restore it?
