Expression texts and change of direction
Hello,
I regularly use "expression texts".
With Musescore 4, there is a problem when we have "expression texts" on score and that we use "change of direction".
Try to do this :
- Write notes on Musescore
- Add expression texts below theses notes
- Select notes
- Click on "change of direction" button
The expression texts aren't below notes anymore.
Try to put again expression texts under the notes
Problem : in doing it, somes other expression texts go back up (cf. screenshot)
The only solution est to recreate your "expression texts".
It's very unpleasant....

Question: why do you use expression text when the aim seems to be to add fingerings (numbers, not text, which you have to edit in addition) ?

I don't know how you do it, but after selecting a measure and flipping the stems and fingerings upwards, it's quite possible to get the desired result: click on the first number -> Shift + click on the last (the entire selection is highlighted) and again "X"

I had the problem because I tried to move the expression texts without using the "change the direction" button or without using this x shortcut. I moved expression texts manuallly. Consequently, sometimes it was in contradiction with the position selected in the left menu, hence my problem.
