D.C. Not working correctly in playback
Hello everyone!
I am trying to organize the repeats in a music score that needs to be played as follows:
-
The first part (A) has a prima and secunda volta that need to be played as they are usually played, prima on the first time and secunda on the repeat.
-
The second part (B) has a prima and secunda volta that need to be played just like the prima and secunda volta in the first part.
-
After (B), i want (A) to be played again, with the prima and secunda volta met just like on the first play-through, first the prima, repeat and then the secunda volta. This is achieved by placing the "D.C. al Fine" marking on the end of (B), with "Fine" at the secunda volta of (A).
However, in playback, Musescore jumps straight to the secunda volta on the second playthrough of the (A) part, even if the "Fine" is set to the end of the secunda volta.
If anyone has an idea on how to make this work, do help me out!
Thanks in advance!

Click on the "D.C. al Fine" marking at the end of (B), then in the Properties panel place a check in the box "Play Repeats".
Look at the bottom of the picture here:

BTW: Since repeats are not normally taken the second time, you may wish to add some text to the "D.C. al Fine" marking indicating that repeats should be played.
