Score won't save online
I'm working on a transcription of the overture from the Nutcracker Suite and when I try to save it, I keep getting an error message that says
"Your score could not be saved to the cloud
MuseScore.com returned an error code: 401 Authorization required.
Please try again later, or get help for this problem on musescore.org."
I'm saving to the cloud because my computer is running out of space.
What could the problem be? Why can't I save my work? Any help is greatly appreciated

An average Musecore file needs less space than your screenshot above!
That's why I can't understand your statement, especially when 500Gb or 1Tb of local disk space is no longer a specialty.
Sorry.

That size argument no longer holds 100% true with MuseScore 4 and Muse Sound though, with that the file size is quite a bit larger than without Muse Sound.

That's true, and it depends on the complexity of the score. But even if they are now 10 times bigger, that is still very, very small compared to the disk space available today. I still don't accept that argument :-).

That's why i said it to not be 100% true 😉

For Mu3 I have some 700 scores, (mscz and pdf, more than 2000 files) taking some 160 MB on a flash drive

One score of mine is 57 KB in Mu3 and 426 in Mu4, another 67 KB in Mu3, 189 KB in Mu4, and all that without using Muse Sound. (But unlike my earlier believes, using Muse Sound doesn't seem to increase the file size).
Still pretty much peanuts.

Yes.
I think the creation of the parts increases the size.
And even 426 kbytes is only about 0.0001% of 500 Gbytes ... (if I'm right :-) ).
And 500 GByte is a standard SSD these days.
I have the same problem.
