Musicxml to high quality strings audio file?
Hi all, MuseScore has a known bug where a drone pitch sounds throughout a whole piece because of an unresolved grace note. They are supposedly going to release a bug fix. But meanwhile, I am desperate to convert my musicxml or mscz file to a high quality audio file some other way without having to buy new software. It's a piece for strings. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks so much,
Dave

If it's a MuseSounds bug or an export bug, you'll have to wait for a fix.
And if it's a musicxml import problem, you can probably fix it right now

It's a bug. Moreover, I've just updated the Muse Hub strings plugins, e.g. Chamber, Berlin, and they have completely broken MuseScore playback and audio export. The audio export, whether mp3 or wav, is just a crackle and hiss! And playback introduces weird sounds that aren't in the score, randomly playing pizz or sf or stuff that's not there. So I can't play back, I can export, absolutely terrible. I've reported it in Muse Hub.
You could try a free strings VST connected to MS3.
I don't know whether any of these would be suitable:

if VST are an option, this is a really nice free one: https://www.sonuscore.com/shop/the-orchestra-elements/
