Short Instrument names

I must have done something wrong. The short instrument names on the duet I have attached do not appear on each system. I have had this trouble on a number of my last trios and duets.

I used to have short instrument names appear on every system. How can I restore this feature?

There is a setting under format >Style >Score >Instrument names. Change it from Hide to Short name.

Note: i think the checkbox for "Hide if there is only 1 instrument" would be better placed a couple of lines down in this menu.
