Removing title in MuseScore 4

I'm just a beginner so apologies if I can't express my issue clearly.
I have created a score but on trying to print it I see I have text superimposed on text where the title, subtitle, composer etc should be. Difficult to see whether this is the word Composer under the name of the composer. I can't see any way of deleting the text. I've tried the Add title etc. option but no blue box appears containing text I could delete. It is possible to add more text in the window that appears at the bottom of the screen but the text already entered for the title etc. doesn't show up so I can't delete it there either. I've clicked on project properties but there is nothing entered there in the title field etc..

What did I do wrong and how can I rectify this, please?
