Not break multimeasure rest on tempo change
Hi,
What an amazing piece of Open Source Software MuseScore is. I've been using it for years now and I have had very few problems and when that has happened this forum has been amazing.
Thanks a lot!
This is the first time I have a question that I cannot find an answer for - hence my first post.
I have a score where some parts have several bars rests. However, in those bars the are noted tempo changes (see example 1) and the MuseScore breaks the multimeasure rest in the part. I wanted that to not show in the parts that only have rests. So that it looks like example 2.
It will not work to just set visibility to false (that I have done in example 1).
The only thing I've found is to remove the tempo changes from the part before it (that's what I've done to produce example 2). The problem with that is of course that I need those tempo changes in other parts.
Another workaround would be to not make the tempo changes into System Text. Then it would work as I was expecting it. If I make it visible = false in the part the multimeasure rest will go over the hidden System Text. But then the play-back of the score cannot know about the tempo change, obviously.
Is this possible to solve this somehow, without any of my suggested workarounds?
Again - thanks a lot for MuseScore and this forum
