Don't know how to connect my MIDI Keyboard (on Windows 11)

Hey! I'm trying to connect my MIDI keyboard in MuseScore on Windows and when I search for instructions they all say I need to click on preferences and then go to the MIDI mappings tab but I cannot seem to find "preferences" anywhere. Any clue?
