Editing one piano system bracket edits all of them

I'm trying to add a third piano staff in one section, but when I hide the extra staff in the rest of the score the bracket still covers three staves even though they're invisible. Is it possible to make it span the 3 staves only in that one section and the rest is the normal 2?
