How to I change the instrument? Currently it is piano. I wish to change to guitar. When I try to change it, I lose all the notes. How can I change the instrument without losing the notes?

To change an instrument, right-click on a measure, select “Staff/part properties” and choose a new instrument.
With the piano, however, it could be a little complicated because of the bass system. Then add two guitars and copy the notes from the treble and bass clefs and paste them at the respective destinations.
