Glissando on cello is synthesized as if on a fretted neck
Is there any way to get a smooth, fretless glissando? It comes out as discrete halftone increments, whether I use Audio Imperia cello or MuseSounds's.

Select the gliss. open properties>Playback. There is an option to change the gliss playback to Portamento.

Thanks for this!

Still "thanks for this", but apparently this feature isn't implemented for the instrument voice I'm using (Audio Imperia Cello) -- when "Portamento" is selected, I get the two notes played without a transition.

Sorry to hear that. It is supposed to be compatible with the Muse engine.

You definitely pointed me in the right direction. Perhaps future updates will provide the right playback, but I am confident your advice has helped me create the document that will elicit this sound when it is implemented.
I'm curious if you've had success with it? I should try a few other sounds, I guess.

It works with the Muse cello. But it isn't very obvious. It works better with the upper strings.
