Part Extraction

Hi,
I believe that, on extracting parts, there is really no need for the abbreviated name of the extracted instrument. Only the full name is needed, perhaps forming part of the title. Otherwise, I always have to remove the abbreviated name from all staves following the first, and I always need to put the latter's full name in bold. The instrument's name should also show in either the header or the footer of the pages following the first.

The extracted part should also have the "multi-measure rests" option acive by default.

Also, it might be a good idea if the part extraction dialogue half-automates the part naming procedure by suggesting a name consisting of the original file's name + a hyphen + the staff's instrument name in full.
