MuseScore sets on their website
Hello all
Hope you are doing great. I have a question about the Sets tab on th MuseScore website.
When I create a set with some scores and all the scores in the set are marked as unlisted but the set is marked as public allowing anyone to see the set.
If I log out and follow the shared link to the set. I cannot see any of the scores. Do I have to have an account to be able to view a set with listed scores? Also should a user/viewer have a paid account to view MuseScore scores?
Your feedback will be appreciated.

You are on musescore.org, where we support and discuss the MuseScore Studio application. You need to go to musescore.com, the score sharing website. Read How and where to ask for support.

Well, we can try and support with some issues but clearly not things like refunds.
You don't need a paid account to browse scores or to play them online.

Awesome, thank you for your feedback. I'm just now figuring out how to view the content even if I don't have an account

Actually you do have an account, just a free one. 😉
You should be able to play most scores online and download public domain scores, (no copyright). "Official Scores" are a bit different and even Pro users can only download them as PDF, so not directly editable in MuseScore.

Ah, I'm just a little confused as to how the setting works. So when I upload a score to the website should I publish it as public or unlisted and then change the sets setting to public for anyone to view? Thank you for your help.

• Publish each score with permissions to suit your need: Public, Private of Unlisted.
• Add scores to sets to group them together. Private sets are for you only; Public sets are for sharing. I guess that a Private score in a Public set will still be private. Not sure about Unlisted scores in Public sets.
Users can view your public scores without them being in any sets at all. Sets are just convenient for grouping scores together.
I use some sets simply to group scores uploaded by other users, e.g. by instrument.
