incorrect stem sharing between crotchet and quaver
Musescore is sharing a stem between a voice 1 crotchet and a voice 2 quaver - making the crotchet appear as a quaver.
(side question: how do you swap the horizontal order of a diad? (in this case to make E natural come before/to the left of the D)

Select the note you want to move and in the Appearance section of the Properties panel, adjust the horizontal offset.
When using voices, the stem directions are determined according to the voice: up for Voice 1 and Voice 3, down for Voice 2 and Voice 4.

Looking at your picture, the 4 G quavers clearly have stems down -- so a good candidate for voice 2:
Ignoring, for now, the very first E crotchet, you can enter voice 1 (blue) and voice 2 (green) as such:
(When entering voice 2 after voice 1, voice 1 stems will automatically point up.)
Enter the E crotchet in voice 3:

Finally, adjust the E note horizontal 'Offset' under 'Appearance' in the Properties panel:

Possible bug in Musescore evolution 3.7 ?
If I try the above I get this when applying a negative x chord offset to the E natural crotchet.

When I open the “Sample Score.mscz” from Jm6stringer, I get the same image in 3.7 as he does.

But when I delete the E-note and insert it back into voice 3, I get your picture. How do you explain this? Mirror head: Left!

Mine was on Mirror Head Auto when I created the score.
Even changing to Mirror Head Left still leaves a slight problem, the stem seems displaced vertically.

Yes, but this is automatically corrected if, for example, you make the chord offset larger and smaller again - simply so that it is repositioned. It is a display error that corrects itself.

Then, the mirror note problem comes from an option "Combine voices that share the same stem direction". If you uncheck this option in menu Format / Style / Notes / Alignment in chords, all's well.
Flip voice 2, and move the E natural horizontally, and you get:

Note also that this option "Combine..." is available in the Properties panel (Show More). Even if it's set to "On" - image below - you can change the Note direction with the left arrow just above it.
