Version 4.5 opens Midi but documents are invisible
Good morning. After updating, my projects no longer are visible. When I Start Musescore or when I double click on a document, the player appears (and also works) but no score is opened. I wonder whether I am supposed to do something or if this is just a bug?

Btw, this also happens when creating a new project: nothing is visible.
Same problem for me. It has worked for the two first files. And after, nothing! I'm using Mac OS 10.14.6
same here, mac os 15.3.2, macbook pro m1; yesterday the only way i could get it to work again was to delete all the files related to musescore including the app and dmg and folder and download again. will try again today but now not sure if i can continue editing my files ugh!

well re downloading didn't work this time - still no score visible; maybe i will try an older version?
was able to download version 4.4 on my macbook and so far so good. will see if I can retrieve the new scores I created later today and tomorrow! by the way, the scores I created on v4.5 could not be opened by v4.4 so I had to recreate my score, luckily it was only one page and a baritone solo.

I sort of found a solution by restoring all settings and it did work, but it effed-up the layout of my documents, including older ones.

Still, sometimes there is no audio playback and I have to restart the program.

Yes, that is definitely going to be the case!!! When you decide to go back to 4.5, you should open copies of your previous version files (or make copies as soon as you open them by File / Save As).

For those familiar with the xml language: it is possible to save the score created with version 4.5 in mscx format; open it with any text editor; You can now replace the second, third, and fourth lines of this file
museScore version="4.50"
programVersion>4.5.07c55023
3.6.2

I can't guarantee that you will recover everything, but the file should open as an old version. Have fun with the wonders of the new Musescore...
P.S.: if you don't know what you're doing, don't do anything...

Sorry but they are not displayed, however, the second, third and fourth lines of version 4.5 with the same as any mscx produced with Musescore 3.6.2
Same here. The very first 2-3 projects were visible, but after that I couldn't see the other scores on the latest Mac OS

The cases are really numerous. There's obviously a problem.
