Slurred Chords

I am unable to slur all of the notes in chords. Selecting the first and last note and hitting the slur tool does not work as it does with single voices. File is attached for your experimentation. Various published techniques involving right click and S also seem not to work. MuseScore is not junk; I am certain there is a way to do it. How?
