why cant the bass go that low muse sounds

the bass guitar for muse sounds sounds great and works great for my needs - but it ends at the d-flat below the starting e, which is really annoying. i use 5 string basses which incorporate the low b and not being able to hear the notation of that really gets in the way of bass-heavy pieces.
