Image Capture
Is there a plan for this tool to be returned to the most recent versions of Musescore?
For educational purposes (in my case), it is a very important tool!
Thank you.

Noone except you and me and maybe a handfull others deem it neccessary and useful :-(
Use the screenshot tool built into your operating system. In Windows, it's Snipping Tool. I assume that Mac and the various Linux flavors have something similar but don't know for sure. Alternatively, there are many applications available that do the same thing.
Opening Snipping Tool requires a single, combination keystroke: Windows+Shift+S. The tool is slightly more powerful in some ways than the built-in image capture was and slightly less in others.

Which is just what I said in my second paragraph. (I just didn't know the details.)
