So, I was trying out the beta of 2.0, and I was testing it with this one song. I noticed and fixed a couple mistakes, and then i saved, and went back to regular musescore 1.3. Well, I went to open the song, and it said that the musescore was too primative, and that i couldn't open the song with that version. Now, I get that whole idea, but the changes that I made were things that you could do with 1.3, and I only noticed them then. So, is there a way that I could force open it in 1.3, make a copy of it in 1.3, or am I stuck working with it in 2.0? (Which I'm not too fond of anyways, so I'm really not goning to consider that an option.) Thanks!

In MuseScore 2.0 (beta or nightly) you can export as a MusicXML File (.xml) by using menu item: File / Export / then 'Save as type'.
The saved MusicXML File can then be opened in MuseScore 1.3.

Regards.

Regarding 2.0 in general, you might consider listing the problems you are experiencing - in separate threads, ideally. It's an *enormous* imporvoement over 1.3 in virtually every conceivable way, but that does mean the changes will take some getting used to. Some things are done differently than before. Probably that's all it is you are facing, and if you say what you are having problems with, I'll betting others can help you see how to do whatever it is you are not finding on your own.

There are difference of features between 1.3 and 2.0. That might be creating a problem in coherence with this. The coherence between 1.3 and 2.0 might not be present their. This is just a thought i am not getting any idea about that.
