No note or sound playback.
Help -- On Ubuntu 14.10 I installed MuseScore and clicked on a file that I had previously built on it before and now I cannot get it be in Note mode or playback the score at all. I click on the forward arrow as before and nothing happens even if I click on the Top Of Score icon and rerun the playback nothing happens. Email [ micahel.flower446@gmail.com ]

What version of MuseScore, and how did you install it? What does it say in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Display (or View) / Synthesizer?

I am using MuseScore version 1.3 . I installed it on Ubuntu 14.10 using Ubuntu Software Center. At "Edit -> Preferences -> I/O" it has "Use internal synthesizer" checked, "ALSA Audio" checked, and "Port Audio" checked. At "Display -> Synthesizer" it has "Sound Font" of [ /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2 ]. I had changed to this font and I am able to switch to Note mode, but without the cursor changing into a note like it should.
