How can I enter a semiquaver rest?
Hi all
There is a shortcut to enter a quaver (1/8 note) rest but there doesn't seem to be one for shorter rests.
It can be done by entering a dummy semiquaver note followed by the notes you want and then deleting the dummy note but I'm sure there must be a better way.

The duration of the rest depends on the duration you choose in the note entry toolbar. For example if you choose quarter-note duration then you get quarter rests when you press Space; if you choose eighth-note duration then you get eighth-note rests when you press Space. Thanks again -- I read the handbook but not carefully enough -- I missed the bit about the length of the rest depending on the note length selected.
