No time signature

Currently you can't have no time signature. This would be helpful for pieces like Trois Gnossiennes by Erik Satie and In C by Terry Riley (or maybe even transcriptions of Ornette Coleman).

This could maybe be achieved with a checkbox like there is for "pickup measure".

It also might be helpful to have an option for decimal-type time signatures and the like.

Thanks.

In 1.3, you can delete the first measure of the piece, which has the effect of removing the time signature. Or you simply mark it invisible, which has pretty much the same effect. You just have to manually set the "actual" time signature for each bar (via right click / measure properties) in order for MuseScore to know where to draw the barlines. In 2.0, you will be able to simply delete it. Internally, it will be 4.4, but you can use the new split & join commands to break up and assemble measures however you like. You can also specify any text you like for the time signature display.

You might want to try downloading a nightly build and having a play for yourself - there's a pretty good chance that any feature you missed in 13 has already been added!
