Instrument Range
Hi,
I want to automatically create a range diagram in the first measure of a score for every instrument. It should be quite easy, I did it manually with the CountNotes plugin. It gives me a txt file with all the notes used in the entire sheet. So I created all (in my case 5) instruments and ran the plugin, got the required lowest and highest notes and typed them into the combined score.
That procedure is a bit annoying... So I would appreciate any help :)

This sounds like the "ambitus" feature already built into 2.0 and available for testing in the Beta & nightly builds. It displays the range of pitches for a staff as a graphic next to the clef.

Marc has right , you seems to want ambitus feature.
If you have downloded the beta and nightly builds, you can test it, ... and some documentation is here http://musescore.org/en/node/37461#ambitus

I heard of the ambitus feature as I googled but I couldn't find it in 2.0. But anyways, now I got it.
