Can I mix snare drum and hihat as one single note?

Hello people is there anyone who could help me on putting snare drum (or bass drum, or another drum) together with an cymbal (hihat, ride cymbal etc) in the way we see commonly in drumset notation? I put the hihat and when I put the snare the hihat is erased...Thanks in advance
